in team lost. they share their success and failure. they bond together. it is much better than face the lost by yourself. learn from sport when kids fail other things in school then they will know how to handle it. kid will know if he keep hard working and next time he will success(win) in the game. But be careful, if it is some popular sports, your kid have to be much better than the other race kids in the team to avoid being benched. It happen to my son and he just keep working hard and stick to his goal. He final find his chance to show the coach and other people he is very good player(now he is a start player in his term).
