这么坏的日子

太太公司的老东家过世一年多了。终于，年青的一辈接掌，要大调整了--公司发出通知。。。太太回家问我：最坏的打算是啥？我说：卖了房子付儿子学费，房子上的equity足够；我有工作，你就不用担心吃饭，我没工作，我两去Walmart打工，挣的钱养活自己没问题。。。太太说：有这话垫底，你接着喝（昨天剩的）酒吧。。。

然后儿子来电话：室友另有安排，同学们不好意思，感恩节不回来。。。我看了看太太：被儿子抛弃了。。。

呵呵，走了这么远，已经不怕了。两个礼拜前老同学从波士顿打电话问我去哪里退休。。。也许上帝另有安排，卖了房子我更自由了。。。
