A wrong reason for premed

Some kids choose a premed track for a very simple reason. The reason is that they do not have to think about what classes to take, what excuse to give, or what job to look for. Once you declare you are in premed track, a plan is automatically generated, it is a step by step plan, a phase by phase plan.  For many, this is perfectly fine, for others, it robs them opportunities to do better things.
