11 grade 选课问题： APUSH + Art or US History + AP computer science?

请教有经验大孩家长：

孩子现在十年级，目前为止高中两年成绩 GPA4.0， 还比较努力上进。对STEM/Engineering major 感兴趣。

孩子学校正在开始选11年级的课程，已经确定要选的是： English Honor 11, AP calculus BC, AP physics 1,  jounalism-2(which is lot of writing and editing). 

现在余下两门拿不定主意是：

（1）选APUSH， + ARTclass， 好处是课程难度高， 显示孩子有能力选有挑战性的课（？）

（2）或者 US history instead， +  选 AP computer science， 难度低一点，但是11年级末申请internship 应该有好处？

请问从大学申请的角度怎样选课更好一些？谢谢分享
