Extracurricular activities at school and beyond are a vital part of learning process. They build self-esteem, create new connections and allow our brains work in other ways that are just as valuable as time spent in a classroom. Based on my experience, the more time you invoive in  sports, the more time you can use to learn your academics because time management is an important skill.
