i learned that girls with AIME qualified is not very common and is a big plus (EC) for application. My 2 cents is: when some achievement is not common, it usually means more challenging. Of course it depends on area. If in you area, many girl qualified AIME twice, then once qualification may not be a big deal any more. My 2 cents.
