UCB, UCLA, UCSD, UCD, UCSB, UCI, UCSC

I like them all better than out-of-state colleges.

From what I know, a high percentage of UCB EECS students are from the waiting list.  I think this probably applies to other UC campuses.  No one knows what is a safe school anymore, so students all select many campuses, which resulting in many students be put on waiting lists.

Even the students got in a top college during EA/ED process in Dec. When they notified UC campuses, UC campuses have no manpower to track, so they are still admitted.  All those positions go to students on WL.
