成就感

今天接到朋友女儿的电话，问我能不能参加下周她的大学毕业典礼。我问：你爹妈来不来？她说爹妈来不了，太忙。我说：你爹妈来我必须去；你爹妈不来，我更要去！

真快啊。五年前她爸爸向我求援：女儿通过中介申请美国的五所大学全军覆没，国内高考也因高中最后一年在美国而错过了。能不能帮忙给女儿找个地方上大学？

我最先想到的是community college到州大的途径。可孩子说还是希望上正规的大学。我网上乱翻，找差一点的州大，居然找到了离我不远的这家州大，在州立系统里排名比较差，接收申请的日期还有一个礼拜。让孩子赶快递交材料，一个礼拜后告知我录取了，外加scholarship，等于交州内学费。。。

孩子一个人飞美国。几年没见了，在芝加哥机场我也认不出来。在我家住了一个礼拜，我再送到学校。。。一呆五年。我中间问过她，要不要转到我这边来？她说：那边容易，又有奖学金，可以省爹娘很多钱。争取读双学位，会计和金融。留不留美国无所谓。。。今年上半年告诉我，准备读研究生，拿到CPA后再和男朋友一起决定去留。。。

 

又一次看到她人的笑脸里有我的贡献！给太太说，她爹娘不能来，我们就以爹娘的身份出席。毕业典礼完后来我们这里，找家好的餐馆庆祝一下，我们请客！
