it depends on the personality of the student.

If the student, like my son or myself, is not a tough fighter/soieder, it is better to avoid trouble rather than fighting against trouble. Usually people with such kind of "soft" personality will not be a super successful person in real world, but, sigh, the genes determine that it is very difficult to change one's personality. Less trouble and the less likely to be super great, nothing to complain.
