Another reason why the class room is quiet is because kids are so concentrate at their own works. No rush, kids got the chances to choose their beloved works, yet teachers encourage them to choose challege works on the side. So no kids would get bored in the classroom.
This is our 5th years in M. school. First one graduated last year, while the second one is in pre-K program now. Just picked the second one up from school and she's so excited telling me that she started do the 100 board in the moring ( a game counting 100s ), and told me she hasn't finished the work, and will finish it up tomorrow when she returns.
It's all about the excitment they gained from their works.
