One lesson: If a kid does not text/phone parents on a daily basi

an unexpected disease or event may not be found until DAYS later!

Make sure that your kid sends you a text EVERYDAY before going to bed so that you will have peace of mind even if you are thousands of miles apart.

My child has spent time away from our watchful eyes on two occasions, each of which lasted about ten days. The daily texts, even if they were just three words long ("I am fine" or "I love you"), meant a lot to us.

The Finding Friend function of iPhone gives you another tool to roughly monitor the kid's movements, which will give you an indication that he/she is ALIVE and moving!

I would never trade my child's health and happiness for anything else. Of course, that is just my personal opinions.
