Yes, because the tablet is merely an input device, the drawback is that you need some kind of software application in order for it to work. I've heard that it works with over 100 software apps, among some of them - Illustrator, Painter, InDesign, CorelDraw, Photoshop, PaintShop Pro, Dreamweaver, FrontPage, Acrobat, GoLive, MetaStream...etc. Most of these software packages aren't included with your computer, but can be found in stores that sell electronics.
