I don't know why so many parents are against

the idea of seeing a psychologist.
Most public school district has school psychologists. They are professional at observing school kids who need help and help them in many many ways. Many times they just set up observing sessions to play with kids, and identify the root cause of the problem.
If you are totally against the idea of school pyschologist, you need to be capable of find the root cause of your son.
What is in his heart that he could not control himself? Where did he pick those words and ideas of wanting to kill others? Does his parents or friends or any other role models around him use similar way to express their angers to others?
After finding the root cause, you need to help him use another way to express his anger and control his anger.
Whenever my son has any sign of problems, I consult with my friend who is a school psychologist. And I found they are professional at handling most of these situations. If I were you, I would like to set up an appointment with school psychologist to get their help.
