national mathcounts晚宴的服装

我儿子将参加national mathcounts，我看schedule上有个晚宴要求穿business formal dress,需要穿西装外套吗？知道的同学给说说，谢谢！如果需要你们都在什么店买？12，13岁的半大孩子很难买西服。
