Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies   1998 年获得了普利策奖。 1997 transdisciplinary nonfiction book by Jared Diamond, professor of geography and physiology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). In 1998, it won the Pulitzer Prize for general non-fiction and the Aventis Prize for Best Science Book. A documentary based on the book, and produced by the National Geographic Society, was broadcast on PBS in July 2005 没经过授权，不抄她写的东西。根据她介绍这本书，是说要有人类要储存有足够的粮食和蛋白质才能有文明发展。每个古老文明都有耕种，储粮和畜牧才能发展文明。有感今天的IQ和种族话题。想起这本书。看起来是不错的一本书，我打算看。
