学校的选择--Wells和 Barnard college

在选college上，其实大家都有同样的想法--在孩子条件（考试分数，EC等等）不可能改变的情况下，如何选择最好的，最合适的学校。上Wells和 Barnard college其实是一条可以考虑的思路：学校本身一般，但能和好学校co-enrollment。

 

这个思路在女儿告诉我她母校在CS的programming上不能和我们州大同日而语后，我在给儿子思考这条路。我知道很多家长很在乎排名，学校的专业的。但目前名牌大学竞争白热化，如何另劈溪径是值得探索的。许多学校可以co-enrollment或交叉上课，从而弥补相互的不足，也许没有“名份”，但却有“实惠”，不是不可行的。

 

网上有很多可学的东西。早年我上网，太太反对，就数我网恋。这些年她也看出我上网浏览，其实学了很多东西，也不太抱怨我上网浪费时间了。真的，别人的很多想法思路甚至无意之举，往往能给读者提供idea。
