国际学生可以申请student loan吗？ No!

四年本科都得按国际学生的标准收费，对不对？Yes!

Typical tuition for international students is around $30K a year in California, plus what local students need to pay (around $5000-$10K per year). She would also need about $700-$1000 per month of living expenses.

These days working on campus would only generate pocket money, not living expenses.

Unless her family has such money, it is not worth it to get bachelor degree here. She should consider to get a degree in a good school in China and also work on her English skill, and come here for master degree.
