请熟悉纽约州rochester的同学指教，pittsford 这个town是否适合家庭居住？

近来可能要转去rochester，NY 工作。家有儿童2名，听说那儿pittsford的学校很好，但税收很高，而且日渐衰落，请熟悉该区域的同学分析一下利弊，谢谢！
