6 year old is better.

My daughter started about 5 and my son started around 6.  It was hard work for parents to train 5 year old practice daily in the beginning.  6 year old is a lot easier as he has gone thru K and all the school training.  Of course there are always exceptions for kids with musical talents,  to whom I think the earlier the training the better.
