有没有一种可能性，那就是排名不特别靠前的大学有一种”自备“感。

在判断你孩子有可能被更好的大学录取时，他们觉得给这个录取是浪费，影响enrollment rate和以后的排名。以前听UChi招办的讲座，就特别强调孩子对学校的兴趣，甚至举例说明如何体现这一点。

没报ED是FA上的考虑吗？最近一直在回答生活中朋友对这个issue的问题。好多年没有研究了，就随便问一下。不方便不必回答。
