My observation is that if the both parents' IQs

are in the very superior range, their child's IQ is more likely somewhere in between.  If one parent's IQ is extremely high, the child's IQ is more likely lower than the parent. Overall, the genetic traits of IQ is more or less like height.

Of course, mutations are exceptions.
