学下棋改变了人生，也对上大学有特别的帮助

这部鼓舞人心的获奖电影是对所有参加这项优良活动的学生以及支持他们的家长的最好的鼓励和嘉奖。

黑人女孩Rochelle Ballantyne（USCF rating 2079）克服重重困难，勤奋努力练棋，9年级就因为赢得女子同年组冠军而获得上大学的Full ride全额奖学金（您猜对了，正是University of Texas at Dallas）。而现在她早已经把目标锁定在UPenn和Stanford上了。

另外两名黑人男孩 Justus Williams （2317）和Joshua Colas（2386）早在初中时就代表校队击败了全国所有的高中代表队。我儿子几年前曾经与他们两位在大赛中交过手，旗鼓相当，印象深刻。
