I did mention my concern at the last visit when he was 15 month old. The pediatrician told me that at long as he communicates in a certain way (gesture etc.), then he wouldn't be too worried. But I am still concerned.

He has no hearing problem. He has been saying a consistent word of his own for a few months now.
