因为它不分EE,chdmical engineering, biomedical engineering, etc. 而是笼统的Engineering， 所以本科生毕业时不好找工作，只有继续读研。加上他们招得也都是好学生，功课也很难. Swarthmore也就成了最好的Feeding School 之一.  This is what their students said on th e"college confidential" website.
