问个问题：什么是medical research?

前两天路过你们这里看见你们讨论medical research，有的同学说好找工作有的说不好找工作。

我以前国内学医的，后来改学了生物，我正考虑再读个master，不知道读什么方向，听见你们说medical research我很感兴趣，这个读什么专业啊？
