你对legacy理解有误。没有legacy，就没有Havard或Princeton。

这些学校赖以生存靠的是endowment，endowment多来自校友，legacy是对校友的回报。
你的孩子去Harvard，即使付了七万学费，但Harvard教育他所花远超七万，差额从endowment来，你已经是legacy的收益者。
