in mid-90s, he was nobody then. I was told by my boss that Lefkowitz would be awarded NB about 20 yrs ago. Both are MDs and know what could be more rewarding than others. Lefkowitz's prime work is on heart beta receptor, the pivotal target for modern cardiology.
