Hi.
I am wondering if any parents in this forum could give me some advices ....
(1) If kid decided to go to medical school, is it not wise to let him pursue ivy schools? Since some people told me it's usually hard to maintain good GPA in top schools during pre-med time.
(2) How important is the GPA for applying medical school? Do they evaluate only GPA, or, which school the kid went also matters?
(3) 7 year medical program vs. traditional medical program: in addition to the obvious benefits of worry free pre-med time (since student does not have to worry about GPA and MCAT(?)) and saving 1 year, is there any catch here?
Thanks for any insights on this!!
