i know a lot of our abc kids do swimming in America. my daughter swimming too. i have to pour some cold water on you .
i went to national collage swimming first division man's competition couple times. swimmers national rank top twenty may could get into first division team. best swimming team is Berkly university team. Nathan adrian is there. i brought my binocular to have a better look at those swimmers. i see no Asians. there are couple half Asian swimmers. they are all tall( above six feet), nicely build , very handsome.(i see them in person after competition).
honestly to say: male swimmer below 6 feet , you will not have a future in swimming in this country.
you probobly will say , look at those Japanese swimmer, they are not tall. they are about 5'8-5'9.but in this country , you will not be given a chance. there are so many tall and handsome swimmer in hand in this country, they will not choose you. the coach will not choose you.
An interesting fact: first division men 's competition was put together with third division women 's competition .(third division is the Private collages swimming teams), there are many beautiful, reasonable women( not six feet tall Amazon women , quite some Asian women too). we still have hope for our future generations.
