when Nature calls, no one can stop/prevent.
Why not just leave this choice to your kid, as it seems very obvious that when parents push the kids to settle down, they want to explore the world more; when parents push the kids to go to see the world, they probably just want to live an easy life without much travel or change. Who knows.
If you push, and your kid don't obey, what's your choice?
so why bother?
