Which school is better? Friend's son in Shanghai got admitted to the following schools for undergraduate study: UIUC (#45 - U.S. News ranking; tution: $27,700) CMU (#23; $43.396) USC (#23; $42,818) UCLA (#25, 34,482) He is going to studying EE. They are leaning to UIUC becasue its cheaper tution and better ranking in engineering, but they asked my opinon. I wouls say UCLA: better location for EE and better over all ranking for undergraduate. Please give your suggestions, especially people from CA. They need to answer the schools in a few days.
