求支招！第一次收到儿子老师这样的信。。。

真心求支招了！！！今天第一次收到儿子老师这样的“求招信”。

“I am so sorry to bother you, but I wanted to appeal for some help with Peter and his class work.  I am so proud of what a good reader he is and how much he enjoys reading, but it is interfering with his getting work done.  I have had to repeatedly remove books from his desk that he is reading when I am teaching a lesson or when he is supposed to be doing class work.  Over the past few weeks he has stayed in to complete work from recess several times because of this. 

I don’t want to destroy his love of books, but we need to find a better balance so that he is completing work and other tasks before he starts in on a book.  Any suggestions or help that you can give on this would be much appreciated.”

说说我儿子的情况：现在8岁2年级（下半年生日），上周拿回的REPORT CARD 的READING LEVEL 是5年级；儿子4岁开始自己读书，上PRESCHOOL的时候，老师曾经建议我带他去看看耳朵，说他听力有问题，因为我儿子在看书的时候老师叫他，永远听不见，但是其他时候正常。在家也经常这样。

我今天晚上问儿子为什么上课不听老师讲课，他说太无聊了，他都会； 我跟儿子说了，会了你也谦虚点，说不定老师会讲个什么你不会的东西呢？。还给他讲了猫和老虎的故事。

我自己想给老师说：如果下次出现这种情况告诉我，我想TIMEOUT他喜欢的玩具几天；如果一周每出现这种情况我就奖励他。大家觉得怎么样？？？

还有，我儿子已经不只一次的给我抱怨上课无聊了，大家觉得跳级会不会好一些？？我个人是不想让他跳级的，想给他多些时间玩；恳求建议和意见！！！
