kindergarten tuition fee conclusion: Chicago, school district 10

half-day program: 9:00am to 11:40 or 1:00 to 3:40pm, $94 for the whole academic year (Sep. to May)

full-day program: 9:00am to 3:40pm, $3306 for the whole academic year.

In my eyes, it's huge difference.

Lunch is not included.  School cafe has lunch package with price range $4 to $5 for a lunch.

我熬呀熬, 熬到了孩子上公校(为这早早搬家到了这好学区), 以为可以开始省钱了(相对而言, daycare cost is ~$1000/month for each). :) it's not the case.

anyway, we will probably still choose the "full-day" (unfortunately, the boss does not think stopping at 3:30pm is a full-time working schedule) program.
