Talk to your elder son since he is 14 years old. What does he think about the relationship between you and your hu*****and. I think he has already witnessed your hu*****and abusive behavior for quite a while according to what you said. How does he think about his father? Does he want you two to stay together or separete? Children sometimes can see things better than adults. Focus on major things and stay firm when it is neccessary. Hope you can sort out the best solution for you, your children and family. Hugs.
