急，太监比较急！

话说俺的小皇帝12年级了，现面临申请大学的难题，恳请各位指点迷津：
Profile: 美国偏僻农村公校，top(1-3),ACT34,SATI(十月份才考，不花时间复习），SAT Subject3X800, AP 8门5分，另4门在读，课外活动有Debate（没奖）,Orchestra(All state），义工零零星星。
前日俺儿在我的多次催促下，表态要学engineering和computer方向，给了一个准备申请的List,只有四所Stanford,MIT,UCB(因有一朋友在那儿）和州大。他同时还迷糊地问老妈我：要是S和M都要我，我应该选那个呢？我答曰：儿啊，只要它俩任一所要你，咱都会像中彩票似的高兴。但竞争是残酷的，要是你全军覆没，老妈还是永远爱你。儿说：我知道，所以我报了州大作为safe school. 说完掉头继续在网上和同学打游戏和聊天。
俺知道再让俺那还没长醒地儿子去研究学校是不太可能的了，但他急需要报几所把握较大的学校作为主攻类，只好上这里请教了。请问像他这种成绩还可以，但没有啥亮点的孩子，应该申请那几所大学呢？俺儿是穷娃，还需申请财政资助。任何建议都先谢谢了。多谢！
