I'd like to know how much you think you know this, especially as research shows the opposite is more likely to be true.

To your surprise, I'm a mom with 3 children, a 6 year old boy, 4 year old twin girl. My never been spanked children do not yell and scream, and are not rude to people.

I myself was not spanked growing up, either was my hu*****and.  We were both well behaved and somehow managed to grow up to be law adiding, productive members of society.  

It's shame that the United States is the only country in the western word which still permits corporal punishment.
