You may want to check different challenger campuses. (I really dislike the campus she went for pre-K). Afterwards we tried a different campus, and the teachers and the director there are much much nicer and reasonable. she loved them! I can tell the difference between the teachers. the teacher at the new campus paid more attention to the kids, for example, when my D talks to her, she bends down and listens patiently. many small details. She now even misses them even in summer camp, asking when she can go to calllenger again.
I feel we can do research about school, but to which classroom the kid gets assigned to, it's purely like a lottery. you never can predict. Just like xiaozhu said, we hope kids can learn to survive.
