Beauty is a relative thing, when a race becomes dominatiing, from historical, political, and economically point of view, their "view" becomes "standards". when white are dominating, blond hair, blue eyes and fair skin becomes "standards of beauty". Then everybody looks up to that standards and compare themselves to that standards. anything different from that is considered "shortcomings".
to give a wild assumption, if one day, a foreign race from another planet comes to the earth to rule, and establish their "standards of beauty"-their own images- huge eyes, huge ears, with huge head with an antener on top of the head.. and with greenish skin color.. By then, that would be the "beauty".
maybe by then, people (including white people ) would scrable to dye their colors to green, and to do surgery to make their ears like fans.. and to addd something on top of the head..
for us Asian, either we become the "ruler" of the race, and establish our standards of beauty, or just accept that we are all different.
we are "different" , that is not "less". be it white color, green color or yellow color, we are different..God creats the world differently, to have variety of things, and people..what we can do is to bring the best out of it and be comfortable "in our skin".
