Lin: American-->Chinese-American

Thanks for your input! Lin mentioned in her talk with Bill Moyers that she realized from all her works that she was a product of Chinese cultural influence from her family, even though she did not get to learn to speak Chinese, besides being an American. She went through the process of believing she's "just American" (not hyphenated American) to Chinese-American or Asian-American.This process took her 20 years.
