I would like to see people compare the two system, the one in China and the one in U.S.

The girl worked hard and suffered lots for doing what she does for China (including not to sue the organization) and she did not satisfied with her treatment. She will not get a better treatment in China under the current system (since it is what it is) even she thinks that she deserves better. People depends on the system for their benefit but the system may not be on their side all the time. There is no fairness. 

If she had been in the U.S. system from the benining, she would have had all the money from insurance company already or the best she could get. She would have felt fair and agreeded with her fate.
