It's really up to your child. If she is 100 percent against it, don't do it. Wait until she goes to the college. My son changed his school when he finished 9th grade. He felt the challenge but adaped his new school very well. Now he thinks that the new school is much better than the one he stayed before. More opportunities and more talented peers. But bigger city's schools can be too competitive.
