Cornell, along with Harvard, Princeton and Dartmouth, is need-blind admission internationally. This means that Cornell accepts best students in the world. However, Yale, Columbia, Stanford, UPenn, CalTech, MIT, Duke, Chicago, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, Washington St Louis, and Brown are only need-blind admission for U. S. citizens and permanent residents, and this means that these colleges accept best students of U. S. citizens and permanent residents.
