被Berkeley拒绝的我的女儿今天被Princeton录取了! 她的Dream School.

费用只比UC贵几千块/year.

 

我几天前已列了她的profile (under SanJoseFarmer),现再列一下.

National Merit Finalist ($2500 reward), Presidential Scholar candidate (3000 out of 3.2 million HS graduates)

典型或非典中国女孩子的EC:

运动,篮球校队 4 year,water polo 1 yr,fencing 1 yr, break dancing, etc.

Piano 10 yr (?), win a few local rewards (a few hundred $)

History Day, state level

webmasters for a few clubs (Key club, school projects, etc), Anime banner design, etc

internship at local engineering consulting firm (making decent money to buy laptop, ipod, jacket, etc.)

250-300 hours volunteering.
