Congrat! to your daughter. Definitely, she will be in prestigious professional track.
If she wants to become a professor, working in business school might have more space in terms of financial sponsorship because more enterprises want to donate a teaching seat in or get consulted from business school.
Taking DBA doesn't mean that she has to pursue a academic track. Later on if she changes her mind, she still has chance to enter fund managements, such as hedge fund or mutual fund, or more other opportunities.
If she is still senior in college, one thing I would consider is that she might not have business experiences in teaching prestigious business schools or might not have advantages to locate a seat comparing with those experienced competitors after 4 years. Is it possible for her to lever a seat in wall street for two years using so many presitigous admissions? then go back for her DBA/JD in harvard. I know many schools, such as Stanford JD/MBA, could keep admission for two years. Maybe harvard could do the same.
