I am writing to you is to let you know the article "Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior" by Amy Chua might represent a handful Chinese woman's behavior towards their own child. But the truth is it is disgusting and damaging to the healthy growth of a child, disregarding gender or race or nationality.

I am a Chinese, who greatly disagree with her. I have been fighting against these nasty behavior for years. I believe parents shouldn't work on planting a child by letting them loose their childhood which would have been their wonderful memories in life.

I am not alone. There is a Chinese web community, www.wenxuecity.com. One of the sub page is called Child Education where Chinese men and women visit frequently. For your reference, there is the link (http://bbs.wenxuecity.com/znjy/?refresh=1). This article has aroused great attention over there. Comments on how to be a mother or a parent are countless. They are anonymous and they are true to heart.

I sent Amy Chua an email regarding her recent article at WSJ.com. I wish she would go and take a look at what real Chinese mothers say about child education.
