If you have the qualities to succeed,

even if you haven't gone to 藤校, you WILL succeed.  If you don't, even if you managed to squeeze into 藤校, you will still fail.  It's YOU that paves the road to success, not the school, although a good academic environment could help initially.  It's just that 藤校 usually have more students with high potential to succeed than regualr colleges.
