早上听NPR，讲到一个关于美国人财富的一项survey.

1。bottom 40% either on debt or own nothing.

 

2。top 20% own 85%(or 80%,forget the detail) of america wealth.

 

3。很多人没有意识到财富分布的不均程度有1，2条那么厉害。被问及那么top20%应该拥有多少财富呢？回答是30%.

 

4。 还有一点非常重要。就是美国人之所以能够接受贫富差距的悬殊是因为美国人有个观点(在调查人眼里这是个mis perception),就是social mobilization(忘了具体用词，好像是这个)。这个意思就是人可以白手起家而通过hard work可以致富而改变自己的social status. 但绝大部分财富是通过继承而传承。 能够通过努力而致富是非常rare。

 

让我很容易联想到中国的分田地，均贫富。
