What I did to my son and his same age friend (when they were about 4) is to tell them: either you two figuring out a way to share, or I will take away the toy. 9 out of 10 times, they share, somehow ;-)) (BTW, both boys are nice, non-aggressive kind. So, this may not suit other kids.)
