节俭没啥不对，but the risk is high ..

when you get so used to 节俭, there is a big risk.

One may end up doing a job without using proper tools. You know the conseqence if you do that at work.

You may teach your kids just that: there is no need to perform a work using correct tool.

I would never expose my kids to that risk.
