my son didn't take HONORS 计算机 and took AP compu sci at 9th. I don't know how well he did in class. But he got A in this class and 5 at AP test( the only one in his school this year 10 kids). I am very sure he spent less than 3 hours each week for this class and never take any outside class for computer because he just wanted to know what computer science is. He didn't have any experience before and no one in our family knows about computer. my guess is this class is an easy class.
